The Francis ranch is nestled in the foothills between Laramie and Cheyenne Wyoming. Grazing near the new wind turbines, the Red Angus cows nurse their calves, content with the green grass and soft breeze.
Pure Wyoming Beef is born and raised on the Francis ranch. By managing the herd as nature would, we use a minimal amount of pesticides. A pasture rotation plan keeps the cattle going on to new grass where parasites are hard to find.
Fertilizer has its place. On someone else’s ranch. We don’t use it. We treat our cattle with kindness, as if they are our friends. Because they are. This means that Pure Wyoming Beef cattle are gentle and relaxed. Wild cattle make for tough beef. We don’t want tough beef. And we don’t think that you do either.
